Escape with a hike in Soule!

The hike starts at the village hall of Barcus, 14 km from our shop in Viodos.

Take the departmental road towards Oloron, then the road to the left for 350 m.

You will then take the dirt track on the left opposite a house. Go through the wood, then along it, until you reach the watering place.

Leave the track and take the path on the right. The path then climbs to the plateau. There is an orientation table at the top on the right. Go back to the right and take a track on the right to the pass.

Then take the right-hand track, then walk along the barns, before descending on a track in a chestnut grove, towards the road.

Once you reach the road, turn left to get back on the departmental road. Then turn left towards Barcus for 150m.

Go down the track on the right to a farm. Go through the gate, close it and continue on the ridge path. Once on the road, turn left to the road and then left again to the village.

This hike is 12 km long with a difference in altitude of 580 metres. The walking time is 5 hours!
