The Mauléon Festival: a must-see summer event in Soule

Every summer, the town of Mauléon-Licharre is decked out in its festive colours to host the traditional Mauléon Festival. This year, it will take place from 9 to 12 July.

For several days, locals, families, organisations and visitors come together to enjoy each other’s company as part of a packed programme of events. Parades, concerts, bandas, sporting activities, Basque traditions and opportunities to socialise bring the streets of the capital of Soule to life in a warm and festive atmosphere.

Beyond the festivities, this event is an opportunity to celebrate the cultural identity of Soule, which is deeply rooted in its traditions, heritage and spirit of solidarity. Every year, the Mauléon Festival helps to bring the region to life and strengthen the bonds between generations.

Based just a few kilometres from Mauléon, the Orocbat team is particularly committed to this event, which plays a key role in the local community. It is also an opportunity to support the charities, volunteers and all those involved in making this event a success.
